Beck & Martin — sourdough bakers from the Barossa Valley.
This is our bread & butter.
Our journey into sourdough baking first began… accidentally.
Living in the Barossa Valley during the 2010’s we found sourdough bread to be a complete rarity. So, if we were to find the bread that we we longing for, we’d have to take matters dough into our own hands…
Now, 12 years and a few thousand loaves later, what began as a humble home experiment has become our full time gig.
Our focus today — the holey grail of buttery, golden goodness — is sourdough crumpets. And with that, Betty’s is our bread & butter.

Farmers Market
The Barossa Farmers Market is a huge part of our story — it’s where we made our start sharing bread with the community over 12 years ago. We’ve swapped loaves for crumpets, but the fun hasn’t stopped.
These days, you’ll find us at the market slinging fresh crumpets by the pack to take home and dishing out breakfast indulgence at the Hot Crumpet Bar — the go to spot for crumpet lovers loaded with sweet and savoury goodness.
We’ll be at the market every Saturday* with new Hot Crumpet Bar specials & a few little surprises from time to time if you’re lucky!
